What Is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is the language of the heart and of intuition. It is a telepathic connection which appears as silent talk. This intuitive communication is an exchange of
thoughts, feelings, and images. It is a language, for it is the way that all forms of consciousness communicate with each other whether we are aware of this or not.
We all have this ability, although we may not have discovered it yet, or we may have lost touch with it. Some people call it that "gut" feeling. We have an experience of this when we keep thinking of a friend and they suddenly call, or perhaps we just know the solution to a
problem and it works out perfectly. Young children can be quite in tune with their intuition, but many shut down when adults begin to tell them that they, for example, didn't hear this or see that.
How does Animal Communication work?
I always begin by going into my quiet heart space and making the connection. First I introduce myself and explain to the animal why I am here with them. If the connection is for a client I explain why their person asked me to connect with them. I never use the term owner, since this does not describe the relationship. We do not “own” our animals.
The messages that I receive from animals come in several ways. Often there are verbal messages, which appear to be what we consider a regular conversation. I also receive images or pictures. The feelings I receive are those of the animal and can be at an emotional or physical level. For example, I might feel the animal's sadness or feel their headache. Other information is simply an intuitive knowing.
I have found that our animal friends have an incredible wisdom and understanding, concerning both us and their world. They often are mirrors for us, meaning they may be showing us aspects of ourselves. We may not enjoy having these pointed out to us, but it can be a tremendous movement toward our personal growth.
